 NW Junior Series Provisional Results 2009
The method used is that the winner of a race has a score of 100% and other competitors score a percentage of the winner’s time. The percentages for each race are added to give an overall series score.

Winter Series
The spreadsheet NW Junior Winter Series 2009 details the full scores competitors. The stated criteria for the series was that each competitor must complete the duathlon and that their 3 best results from the remaining races would count. In addition, competitors must have signed up as Triathlon England members for the 2008/09 season. Using these criteria the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category have been determined.  (N. B. Someone who may well have scored maximum points in each aquathon, but did not compete in the duathlon would not have filled the criteria and despite having a higher score, would not be eligible for series recognition.) In T3 Girls and Youth boys there were only 2 competitors who did the duathlon and 3 other races so the third place went to athletes who did the duathlon and two other races.

TE membership has been checked with the central database at Loughborough. The following will be presented with trophies at the NW Region Presentation Night and Disco on Sat 27th March

Summer Series
The criteria for this series was the best five results from the published races. The full results are detailed in the spreadsheet NW Junior Summer Series 2009 In addition, competitors must have been signed up as Triathlon England members for the 2009/2010 season. Some places have gone to competitors who only did 4 or only did 3 races in which case they have been given a score of zero for the remaining race or races that they did not do.

It is the intention that these will remain as the provisional results until the 21st February, after which time they, and any agreed modifications to them, will become the final results.  Any changes to the results will be uploaded to the NW website.
