Junior athletes for next week’s ETU Triathlon European Championships have been confirmed following the Youth and Junior Gateway events in Llanelli last weekend. They join the Great Britain Triathlon Team, which features Jodie Stimpson and BBC’s Louise Minchin.

Llanelli Race winners, Sam Dickinson and Kate Waugh head a team of eight talented juniors who will race in Lisbon next Saturday 28 May. All team members, listed below, are part of the England Talent 'A’ Squad.

The juniors will compete alongside Britain’s senior elite triathletes, including Commonwealth Champion, Stimpson, Britain’s Paratriathlon squad and nearly 700 amateurs competing for the Great Britain Age Group team in five-year age bands. Included in that squad is BBC Breakfast TV presenter, Louise Minchin.

Stimpson could challenge for her first European title, and recent ITU World Cup winner, India Lee will feature. Adding to the strong British female line up, recent ETU European Cup winners Jess Learmonth and Lucy Hall. The full senior squad is listed below.
