Siddall secures top-ten finish in New Zealand

Published:

Laura Siddall’s early season form continued as she finished seventh at 2024 IRONMAN New Zealand.

The Brit exited the water in tenth place alongside Australian Kate Gillespie-Jones with just two seconds separating the pair heading into T1. On the bike leg her time of 05:00:07 saw her move up the standings.

A quick T2, followed by the fifth fastest run time of 03:09:42, cemented her place in the top-ten as she crossed the line in seventh, just behind American Meredith Kessler.

The result is Siddall’s second top-ten finish of the season after she came third at Challenge Wanaka in February.
