The RAF College Cranwell in Lincolnshire is where all RAF officers and airmen aircrew are selected and trained to become the leaders of tomorrow. The RAF College Cranwell not only selects and trains the RAF's future leaders but has responsibility for all RAF recruiting and initial training. All of the activity at the RAF College Cranwell is supported and directed by a Headquarters situated in the most iconic of RAF buildings, College Hall.

The RAF Try-a-Tri series is a group of 5 sprint races that culminates in the Sir Chris Moran RAF Sprint Championships at RAF College Cranwell.
The sprint series is open to military service, civil service and emergency service personnel only. Personnel that do not meet this criteria may compete on invitation only.
