A team of volunteers helped make the Accenture Mixed Relay Triathlon Canary Wharf 2019 a great success. Giving up their time to serve in a variety of roles, volunteers played an integral role in providing participants with a unique and fun opportunity to race in the heart of London.
What is the Accenture Mixed Team Challenge Canary Wharf 2019?
The Accenture Mixed Relay Triathlon Canary Wharf 2019 provided a unique opportunity for the competitive sporting types to compete in the elite mixed relay format ahead of its inaugural debut at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. 39 mixed gender teams of four, 2 men and 2 women, raced through the Canary Wharf estate, completing a 300m swim in Middle Dock, 5km static bike ride on Jubilee Plaza and 1.5km traffic-free run on Bank Street before a finish to remember.
