Sarah Williams takes on Cambridgeshire as part of her area as East Midlands Regional Manager.

Hi all, I am pleased to take up Cambridgshire as a county and I am looking forward to getting to know you all and work to develop triathlon across within this area.

I have been involved in sports development for over 10 years now and did previously work for British Triathlon as the Volunteer Co-ordinator between 2007-2010 before moving to a role with Nottinghamshire County Council to develop sport including Triathlon across the county.

Aside from working in sport I have been involved on a personal level from a very young age. I grew up in a sporting family, both my Dad and Grandad were professional footballers and my Mum a keen runner so its no surprise I became active also! My main sports over the years have involved football, tennis and triathlon but mostly now its running and hockey both of which I compete in competitively. Outside of work and sport I am a keen traveller and I have been lucky enough to travel to many parts of the world.
