In February 32 Eastern Regional Triathlon Coaches attended a Swim Smooth workshop to learn How to Teach Freestyle. Another course has now been confirmed for Saturday 28th June at St Neots Sports Centre, Cambs.
One coach said “Many thanks for putting the course on this weekend I found it really valuable. As a new coach helping beginners and newcomers to the sport is one of the biggest challenges with swimming causing the most areas of anxiety for newbys. I would definitely recommend the course and I think it should be part of the level 1 qualification.”
As the course was so successful another one has been planned for June 28th 2014, at St Neots Sports Centre, Cambridgeshire. Any Triathlon England Coaches that wish to sign up please contact Carolmacdonald@triathlonengland.org
