To mark the opening of the new Castle Visitor Centre (and our 15th Birthday) CADW and the Custodian of the Castle have given us permission to place the finish line for the Triathlon and the Fun Run inside Harlech Castle. The Triathlon poster on our web site shows the view you will see as you cross the line.To Storm the Castle you will climb the path from the 13th Century Water Gate. With slopes and 200 steps along the way this will certainly be a challenge, but as always Harlech Triathlon will be an event to suit both experienced and novice competitors.The race uses one of the UK's most spectacular run routes over the dunes and beautiful sands of Harlech Beach. Free access to Harlech Castle - The Custodians of the Castle offer all competitors and their supporters free access to the Castle, its visitor centre and exhibitions on the day.Competitors receive a free bacon buttie or veggie burger in the nearby Memorial Hall.
