Good luck to all those racing at the Crystal Palace Triathlon and the Hillingdon Triathletes Race #1.

After the Bank Holiday weekend of bumber-to-bumber racing and last weekends races; Optima's Aquathlon on Saturday, Hatch End Triathlon on Sunday and the second of the Hillingdon Triathletes Monday night duathlons, this weekend could be a bit of a let down with just the two races.

How wrong could you be?

In south east London, Crystal Palace Triathletes are holding their annual triathlon, encorporating a round of the London League (senior) and a round of the region's Junior Series. The fields for both senior and junior races are largest ever for this event.

At the same time Hillingdon triathletes are holding race one of the their three race triathlon series at Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre.If you haven't raced this event before I'd suggest signing up for the second or third in the series. It's a great club event with a twist to the format, swim-run-bike and the option to do a duathlon for those not too keen on getting in to the water in May. More information on the clubs website
