London Sport are launching their Individual Coaching Bursary today.

The aim of the fund is not only to develop our Coaching Workforce at Level 1 & Level 2, but to also help increase the number of people participating in sport across London with a focus on increasing participation in 11-25 year olds.

The bursaries are for 75% of the course cost for Level 1 or Level 2 qualifications.
 
Who can apply?
• Coaches registered on Coaching London website (www.coachinglondon.org). The application form is accessible through this website only.
 
• All applicants must be a resident of a London Borough AND coaching in a London Borough. Applications that include the following Boroughs will not be considered unless evidence is provided of unsuccessful funding applications to these Borough’s schemes (Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Brent, Hackney, Havering, Hillingdon, Islington, Kensington and Chlesea, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Wandsworth. • All sports must be recognised by Sport England (triathlon is recognised).
 
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. The funding pot is limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis, so please encourage your coaches or potential coaches to apply early to avoid disappointment.
