The Balfour Beatty London Youth Games is Europe's largest annual sports event, with over 100,000 children taking part in 2012. Aquathlon is one of the events taking place on the Sunday (7th July) of finals weekend.

The Aquathlon has always enjoyed support from the London boroughs and this year is no different with 30 of the 33 London boroughs entering teams of upto 20 participants across the age groups. In total there are 350 participants registered to take part. With the weather forecast set as "scorchio" it should be a fantastic event.

This year the Aquathlon event is being run by the London Region Commtitee and will draw upon the vast amount of experience and skills of the committee members.
