Preview: London League 2015

Published:

The start of the 2015 London Senior League is just around the corner.

Starting with the iconic Thames Turbo triathlon on Easter Monday through until the Halloween Jekyll & Hyde duathlon in late October, this year's series encompasses three triathlons, five aquathlons and two duathlons. The events are run by local triathlon clubs and designed to create a healthy environment for improving performance, encouraging participation and having fun.

In addition to age group category prizes there will be an open para-tri category for the first time ever. Points are awarded to both clubs and individuals and combine to determine the overall league winners who will be awarded prizes at the end of year Triathlon London awards ceremony. For further details on the London League scoring check HERE

The races are open to anyone, but only Triathlon England London Region affiliated clubs can enter the League. Run in parallel to the London Senior League is the London Junior Series, which kicks off on 19th April. Further information on the Junior Series can be found HERE

At each race there will be team competitions for Male team (top 3), Female team (top 3), Mixed Team (top 3 male and top 3 female) and Mob Match (club with the highest participation). No matter where you place you will be contributing to your club's mob match score, so get along to these events to experience some great friendly rivalry between the London region clubs.
