On the 31st May and 1st June 2014, London again welcomes The World Triathlon Series with the Worlds top elite triathletes racing alongside thousands of weekend warriors and first timers at another big festival of triathlon in Hyde Park. Non Stanford will be defending her World Title, while the Brownlees will be desperate to wrestle the men’s crown from Javier Gomez and bring the trophy back to Yorkshire.
The race organisers Upsolut Sports are in the process of finalising the details of the event and are looking to London clubs to help support by joining the delivery team.
“Enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers are an absolutely vital element of delivering any world class event and we are hugely reliant on the local triathlon community in helping us to deliver this fantastic sporting spectacle in Hyde Park” says Andrew Taylor, Upsolut Sports’ Head of Operations.
“We really need your support again in 2014, and hope that you can not only lend us a massive helping hand, but also have a wondeful weekend in the park yourself, getting close to some world class sporting action”.
Upsolut Sports are offering free places into the event in either 2014 or 2015 for those clubs who are able to commit to bringing a team of volunteers to the event.
