The "Introduction to Triathlon & Duathlon" session will cover all you need to know so you get the most out of your first triathlon and duathlon experience.
The session will outline specific bike and run skills and techniques in a practical way on the road circuit. Towards the end of the session you will put all the skills together in a fun practice duathlon before rounding up with a Q&A session.
The session is led by Beate Vogt (Level 3 Triathlon coach) and her all female coaching team.

Cost: £10 for Triathlon England members/ £15 for non-Triathlon England members.

What you'll need:-
Be prepared to cycle and run and wear appropriate clothes for exercising and the weather.
You will need a bicycle and bike helmet as well as your running shoes. There are changing and showering facilities on site as well as a cafe for refreshments.

A bit about your coach:
Name: Beate Vogt
British Triathlon, Level 3
UK Athletics, Level 2 (endurance running)
ASA Level 2 (Swimming)
Beate has been running since the late 70s and has completed marathons and a wide range of road and cross-country events. She discovered triathlons in the late 80s when the sport was still in its early stages.
Alongside several Duathlons, Aquathlons, Sprint and Olympic triathlons she has raced through the finish line at a number of Half Ironman events and completed her first Ironman distance triathlon in 2013. In 2010 Beate represented the GB Team at the World Championships in Budapest and in 2011 at the European Championships in Pontevedra, Spain.
Beate began coaching runners in 2003 and has been working with triathletes since 2006. Beate is very enthusiastic about coaching and loves to share her knowledge while continuing to learn and develop as an athlete and coach. Her personal athletic interests include all the triathlon disciplines and distances from Sprint to Ironman. She was awarded Triathlon England London Region Participation Coach of the Year in 2011.
