In November the South Central region have seen two Level 1 coaching courses start . This will bring 27 new assistant coaches to the area which is much needed with the growing number of clubs in our region.
We had courses running in Aylesbury at Stoke Mandeville Stadium and Hampshire at Highfield School . Both venues provide an opportunity for candidates to practice skills of swim, bike and run coaching.
The candidates attended Highfield School in Liphook studying in the Pavillion which acted as their classroom and base when they weren't in the grounds or pool. All candidates gave positive feedback and are looking forward to their final assessment day in December.
