British Triathlon is pleased to announce the Great Britain Age-Group Team qualification events for the 2014 ETU Sprint Duathlon European Championships.
The qualification programme will see three events take place throughout this coming autumn, with some familiar favourites and some new events to the qualifier scene.
6 October – Oulton Park Duathlon, Oulton Park Race Track (North West)
19 October– Althorp Duathlon, Althorp Estate (East midlands)
10 November – Grafham Water Duathlon, Grafham Water (Eastern region)
Malcolm Westwood, British Triathlon Director for Age-Group Teams added: “The ETU Powerman Sprint Duathlon European Championships has become very popular amongst our GB Age-Group Team since it was recently added to the ETU European Championships calendar. By hosting these qualifiers further in advance of the Championships it will enable our dedicated athletes the time to properly prepare themselves, enabling them to deliver their very best performances. The events chosen will give age-groupers from across the country the opportunity to qualify in the best possible racing conditions.”
