In 2011, Nirvana Europe, the GE Great Britain Age-Group Travel Provider helped over 1,000 athletes and supporters travel to major ETU European and ITU World Championships, delivering a bespoke travel and accommodation service that ensured our British athletes could focus on delivering medal-winning performances.
Nirvana Europe is an ATOL protected travel company and provide travel, accommodation and logistical support for each major championship in which the GE Great Britain Age-Group Team compete.
So far this season, Nirvana Europe has already announced packages to the following events:
• 2012 Eilat ETU Triathlon European Championships.
• 2012 Vitoria-Gastiez Long Distance Triathlon World Championships.
• 2012 Nancy ITU Duathlon World Championships.
• 2012 Horst ETU Powerman Long Distance and Sprint Duathlon European Championships – coming soon.
• 2012 Auckland ITU Triathlon World Championships – coming soon.
In 2011, the number of British athletes and supporters travelling with Nirvana Europe increased by 44% from 2010, highlighting the value of their bespoke travel solutions that include:
• destination airport meet and greet;
• return airport transfers (including bike);
• accommodation (including bike storage in room wherever possible);
• breakfast;
• event transfers (including bike) where applicable; and
• experienced Nirvana Europe ground support.
Simon Leitch was one GE Great Britain Age-Group athlete racing in Budapest two years ago, who found the support of high value, commenting: “Thanks for the support of the Nirvana team during the weekend’s events. It was very reassuring for us all to have your staff on hand to take care of the multitude of logistical tasks that are part of such an exercise - all with typical Northern good humour and cheerfulness! I look forward to our next event with you.”
Georgina Gardiner who raced at the 2011 Beijing ITU Triathlon World Championships added:
