Welsh Triathlon Super Series

2022 Welcomes the fourth instalment of the Welsh Triathlon Super Series, a collaboration of televised sprint and standard triathlon events which showcases Wales as the natural home of Triathlon and multisport. Six incredible stages from all corners of Wales. Set within National Parks, along our incredible coastline to the shadow of Wales industrious past, the 2022 series will take on three sprint and three standard stages which will allow Welsh clubs and age group athletes to go head-to-head across all age categories.

The SWYD sprint triathlon at Barry Island (Sunday 3rd October) hosted the final stage of the 2021 Welsh Triathlon Super Series as GOG Tri’s Rhian Roxburgh and ATAC’s Oli Simon take both overall titles with final stage victories.

Dooley Doubles Up her National Championship Awards as Aquathlon welcomes participants old and new

Sunday (26th) saw the National Aquathlon Championships held at Whitmore Bay, Barry Island with the running of the SWYD Aquathlon. Ideal conditions welcomed the hundred athletes for one of the last events of the season, a Sharp 750m sea swim followed by a 5k along Barry promenade.
