The Oulton Park Duathlon is set to take place on Sunday 6 October 2013.
The event represents the first opportunity for age-group duathletes to book their place in the Great Britain Age-Group Team for the 2014 ETU Sprint Duathlon European Championships.
The Oulton Park Duathlon takes place at the well-known Oulton Park Race Track and organisers are expecting some quick times in this sprint distance event that takes place entirely on the traffic free racetrack. Duathletes will complete a 4.3km run followed by a five-lap 21.5km bike and final 4.3km run.
This event kick-starts the qualification process for the Great Britain Age-Group Team before the Althorp Duathlon on 19 October and Gratham Water Duathlon on 10 November.
For duathletes intending to qualify at the Oulton Park Duathlon, you must register your intent to qualify on the British Triathlon website by 5pm Friday 4 October 2013.
