Lucy Charles and David McNamee both made the IRONMAN World Championships podium in Kona, Hawaii. Charles finished second to the overwhelming race favourite, Daniela Ryf, and McNamee was third behind Patrick Lange (GER) and Lionel Sanders (CAN).

Andy Lewis wins Sarasota gold, Liam Lloyd seventh in Melilla

In one of the final international weekends of the season, Andy Lewis won another gold medal at the ITU Paratriathlon World Cup in Sarasota, Florida. The event also featured three Brits in the ITU World Cup, where athletes faced some extreme conditions. There was further success at the Melilla ETU Triathlon European Cup Final in Spain.
